Black Light

 

This altered book project was an intervention in a lovely thrifted book titled Black Light: Writings from American Negro Literature published in 1973. In the summer of 2017, I  interned at the National Museum of Women’s in the Arts in Washington DC, and one Sunday afternoon, a little turned around, wandered into a used book store where I found this gem.
